Kenda Announces 2009 Race Team

Mary McConneloug, a two-time Olympian, and Michael Broderick, a teammate will continue to manage their race program under the title Team Kenda Seven-NoTubes. They are thrilled to announce that their race program will continue under the title sponsorship. The duo is also proud to be supported by three of the best companies in the business. Here’s what the duo had to say about their agreement.

Kenda Tires has been there for us throughout our transition from pure grass roots to today’s program. Mike and I are delighted to have signed a second four-year contract with Kenda. This will take us through the 2012 season. Kenda is known for its exceptional tires and its pivotal role in supporting the U.S. Mountain Bike scene. We are looking forward to continuing Kendas #1 tire brand status in the US and expanding Kendas presence wherever we race and travel. It’s a great honor to represent this company.

Seven Cycles, a long-standing sponsor, continues to supply the essential ingredients for what we consider the best race bikes on earth. The Seven frames, which are custom-built, are engineered and handmade in one of the most innovative, forward-thinking factories in the world. This is a powerful testimony to
Sevens’ quality is their ability create a high-performance frame that is strong enough to compete in two consecutive Olympic games. On both occasions (four years apart), it gives the impression that we were entering the races with significant equipment.
